Chiki is an average girl, having grown up on a no-name farm in the middle of nowhere. She found this life incredibly tedious and boring, and though she learned much about the land, it simply wasn't enough to sate her boredom.

She developed a serious case of wanderlust, taking every opportunity and excuse to venture outside of her village's borders, and one day, she overheard a group of travelers at the tavern.

They told a grand tale of a land called Mylen, which could only be reached by travelling through a teardrop of pure light. Chiki found the story incredibly intriguing, and wanted to explore this mysterious world on her own one day.

She made it her life goal to become an adventurer and explore this mysterious new world, to have people write stories and sing songs about her grand tales.

And soon enough, that day came. Chiki had been travelling for many months, trying to find one of the elusive teardrops, when she found a lead. A local led her to the clearing where her husband had apparently fallen through, the teardrop appearing right in front of him when hunting.

Chiki saw the beautiful blue light, and could almost hear…voices, enticing her to join them. The next thing she knew, she was standing in the middle of a vast desert. Her journey has only just begun.
