Taps is the God of temporal unity. He was the very first deity created by Chemnosh, after the founding of the Universe.
He is a divine entity who is extremely rigorous in his work, which he carries out relentlessly. The notion of temporality in the Universe is the basis of everything: it must be kept in constant balance. Because of this great responsibility, Taps has great self-confidence and considers himself a supreme deity.
He spent a hundred years alone before the arrival of Neeko, the goddess of earth and planets, with whom he fell in love. She allows herself to be seduced, and they form the very first couple among the gods.
Hard-working Taps is so preoccupied with watching over the universe that he doesn't realize that Neeko is harboring a deep-seated annoyance with him. He finally discovers that his wife is being unfaithful when he overhears her secret affair with Valdania.
His inability to cope with these new emotions causes him to lose control of his power. An unheard-of power bursts from his body and strikes Neeko. Despite Solweig's intervention, Neeko disappears.
This terrible act gnaws at him and plunges him into deep guilt. His personality changes, his self-confidence deteriorates, and he becomes more modest than before, placing himself as the equal of the other deities.
This leads him to distrust Valdania, who, blinded by grief, holds him responsible and seeks revenge. They clash in many duels, until one day Chemnosh prevents divine combat. Instead, the gods must compete for power on Terra, winning the devotion of the mortals there to legitimize their power and existence.
He has a special affinity with dwarves, with whom he shares a sense of hard work. Conversely, he has no interest in humans, whom he finds socially too unstable;
