Yourick is the God of Knowledge and Science. His appearance is the most recent, 359 years after the creation of the universe. The very first vampires are even older than he is.

His mission is justified by the fact that conscious, intelligent races have begun to appear. Yourick is there to pass on the science to them.

As well as being cunning and ambitious, Yourick is shy and reserved by nature. He's quick to get impatient, but he's also very generous, especially when it comes to passing on his knowledge.

He has always been in love with the goddess Solweig, but doesn't dare confess his feelings for fear of being rejected. So he consoles himself by spending most of his time experimenting with all kinds of inventions. And when he comes up with an innovative idea, he whispers it into the ears of an intelligent enough and attentive mortal.

His appearance is that of an old man to contrast with his youth, and above all to better conceal his power. It also gives him the satisfaction of maintaining the image of an experienced scholar.

He has a particular affinity with humans, the race that, like him, has appeared most recently. But they are also more adaptable to change, learn more efficiently and are capable of the best technical and scientific feats.
